Plastic Free July - Part Two

Straight into it this week!! Rubbish I get quite a few people question me - but if you do not get the bags at the supermarket what do you line your rubbish bin with? Answer : NOTHING!! In part one I mentioned I used my own containers at the butcher, that is one less glad wrapped piece of plastic I am popping in my kitchen bin, compost what food you can and obviously rinse and recycle what you can.  The more plastic and wrapper free you are I can guarantee you wont be putting stinky, leaky items in your bin....

Plastic Free July - Part One

We all read quotes, memes, see inspirational pictures - all of that - all of the time - on social media. I'm all like ohhhhhh that is awesome, screen shot it, say I am going to start living my life with that mantra.  Then I wake up the next day and back to normal and cant remember anything I have read the previous day! KAPAKAPA

Why we love it... Where do I start? Guilt-free chocolate treat...umm, yes please! And Kapakapa is guilt-free in every sense of the word. I know ALL of the above has happened to us at one point or other, and this is why we LOVE the Re-Play spill-proof sippys. My girls have been using theirs...

KAI CARRIERS

Why we love them... We got our first Kai Carriers when our girls were starting solids. The 140ml pouches are the perfect size for babies and toddlers and are really easy to use. They are perfect for making nutritious meals and then storing/freezing them in ideal serving sizes for at home or on the go. We are still using these pouches several years later (they last so well!) and have also graduated to the 300ml pouches now that our girls are ready for larger portions - smoothies especially. Every few weeks I will spend a morning preparing yoghurts and...
